Lautus Sauvignon Blanc

Lautus, Latin for pure, elegant, and sumptuous, creates non-alcoholic wines out of lush vineyards in South Africa. An involved, traditional winemaking process precedes dealcoholization, taking great care to ensure the wine is equally as complex and enjoyable as its alcoholic counterpart. The Lautus Savvy White is made from cool-climate Sauvingon Blanc grapes. Certain grapes are picked early to provide optimal acidity, while the rest are harvested at their peak point of ripeness. The wine is twice passed through a gentle spinning cone technology: once to capture and preserve the wine’s aromas and flavors, and again to remove the alcohol content. 

This Sauvignon Blanc is refreshingly acidic with a classic palate of tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Serve it as an apéritif or enjoy it with light, herbal dishes, and green veggies. As an easygoing, seasonally equivocal wine, we'd trust the Lautus Savvy White as a fine option for any occasion that calls for a glass of white.
